What is Attic Insulation?

Attic insulation comes in various forms including batts, rolls, loose-fill and rigid foam boards. Each type is manufactured differently and made for different uses within a home. The amount of insulation required is based on the Department of Energy’s predetermined zones which can be found on the bottom of this page.
