Let\u2019s explore four of our favorite recent experiential TV-show pop-up shops. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Schitt\u2019s Creek Celebrates Its Sixth Season<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cOMG David!\u201d We\u2019re talking about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vulture.com\/2019\/01\/schitts-creek-netflix-pop-success-story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Schitt&#8217;s Creek,<\/a> the SAG-award nominated, Canadian TV show that\u2019s at the top of everyone\u2019s Netflix queue and launches a new meme daily (can we give it up to fan favorite <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/hollywood\/2020\/01\/schitts-creek-moira-rose\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Moira Rose?<\/a>). The show\u2019s fanbase is as enthusiastic as ever &#8211; and the show is still at the top of people\u2019s minds (hello upcoming reunion special!). Because of the show\u2019s consistent popularity and its place in Millennial\u2019s hearts (there\u2019s that nostalgia factor again), it makes perfect sense and is a complete win in the universe of experiential TV-show pop-up shops.<\/p>\n<p>The immersive pop-up shop (put on by Superfly and Warner Bros.) descends upon &#8211; where else &#8211; New York City in the early fall of 2019 and comes complete with a <em>Friends<\/em>-centric merch store. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re excited to celebrate 25 years of fandom with the show&#8217;s biggest immersive experience to date,&#8221; Jonathan Mayers, co-founder of Superfly, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/1060286\/you-re-going-to-be-able-to-live-out-your-friends-fantasies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">says.<\/a> &#8220;The<em> Friends<\/em> New York City Pop-Up captures the series most memorable moments with the characters, memorabilia, set re-creations and exclusive merchandise.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The pop-up takes place over two days in September to mark 25 years since the airing of the show\u2019s first episode \u2014 upping the nostalgia factor for fans. References to the show are all over with the pink teddy bear front and center (something fans are sure to remember), a huge Walter White mural, and of course, a setup with an RV. <\/p>\n<p>The staff in the kitchen don yellow hazmat suits, the menu features iconic dishes from Los Pollos Hermanos, and you can even stop by Saul Goodman\u2019s desk. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe kitchen, adorned with gallons of Methylamine chemicals and signs bearing the warning \u2018Danger: Combustible Liquids\u2019 is helmed by chef Johanna Merida, who ensures that each menu item throws back to the AMC series,\u201d the Hollywood Reporter adds. \u201cThere are Heisenburger Sliders and Loaded SAUL-sa Nachos, to name a few. Can we say \u201chello cuteness!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The cafe is called Hilary\u2019s cafe and is open for a limited time and is filled with tons of guinea pigs!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHilary\u2019s has everything one might expect from a guinea pig cafe: pictures of guinea pigs, statues of guinea pigs, and (many) live guinea pigs,\u201d says <a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/tv\/2019\/08\/07\/fleabag-pop-up-cafe-los-angeles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Entertainment Weekly.<\/a> \u201cWith cages artfully lining one wall of the room with their owners standing by, fans can pet a guinea pig while looking at the paraphernalia.
