Google Go North 2017 hosts 650+ of the brightest minds in Canada\u2019s tech ecosystem for the second annual technology summit. The goal is to help Canada unlock the potential of artificial intelligence by celebrating Canada\u2019s leadership in Artificial Intelligence [AI] and highlighting technologies that usher in a new era of economic and social opportunity. The Go North 2017<\/a> event is designed and produced by Sparks.<\/p>\n

Go North 2017 distinguished list of speakers is long and star-studded including the Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau. Others include Eric Schmidt, Executive Chairman, Alphabet Inc., and Shivon Zilis, Director, OpenAI, who\u2019s also listed on Forbes 30 under 30 in Venture Capital. \"Canadian<\/figure>\n

Attendees actually have an opportunity to interact with new AI technology at the event. Demos range from novelty, Mocktailer Mixer, that uses Google Assistant to mix drinks, to real world applications like MetaOptima. It sends skin scans to doctors or hospitals for analysis and early diagnosis of life-threatening skin conditions.<\/p>\n

In between sessions, attendees visit the adult-friendly playground in the Garden area to network or let loose. An oversized teeter totter that blows bubbles is perfect for an informal one-on-one. Attendees can take a leisurely swing on beautiful, circular-shaped wood swings. Or an exciting ride on \u201ctop chairs\u201d that spin 360\u00b0 without dumping the rider! The playground is a huge hit.<\/p>\n

After an amazing day of learning, Google Go North 2017 concludes with a cocktail hour where guest mix, mingle and talk AI.<\/p>\n
